If you're someone who thrives in numbers and thinks strategically, this is your moment: Our client seeks a Finance Manager to join their innovative team at their internationally active Hamburg-based firm.
In this pivotal role, you'll embrace substantial responsibility by managing financial operations across multiple divisions. You'll ensure complete clarity in all data and collaborate closely with the Finance Director. Leading your team, you will shape budgets, forecasts, and reports while continuously refining processes and contributing game-changing ideas.
Key Responsibilities:
Craft monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports following HGB standards and local regulations
Deliver financial insights for leadership, partners, and clients
Spearhead budgeting efforts alongside planning for cash flow and payments
Oversee contract administration with an eye on internal quality checks
Enhance systems and processes while liaising with external stakeholders
What We’re Looking For:
Educational background or training in Finance-related fields like Accounting or Auditing
Minimum of 2 years experience at a senior level (Audit or Consulting roles preferred within maritime sectors)
Initial leadership experience welcomed
Proficient with contemporary finance tools
Excellent analytical abilities paired with keen attention to detail without losing sight of overarching goals
You're communicative by nature, brimming with fresh ideas to propel initiatives forward
Fluent German speaker; strong command of English
